The rules are not very strict but must be followed so everybody can be happy.
Not following the rules may lead to account suspensions or permanent bans.
REGARDING THE CONTENT
- Do not personally insult or attack other members, keep in mind to respect others verbally.
- Do not post phone numbers and/or personal addresses.
- No links or posting of nudity, explicit porn or other offensive material.
- Do not post the content of private emails, private chats, pm or similar stuff.
- Do not post pictures of Madonna's children. The only images allowed are from approved photoshoots and images from public appearances where Madonna has been joined by her children.
- Do not share, request or promote links to officially released copyrighted materials in both audio or video.
- Do not share information that is posted exclusively to ICON. ICON will pursue legal action to those who post their exclusives elsewhere.
- Moderators have the right to modify, delete or edit posts. Feel free to contact them to express your concern about topics that have been changed by a moderator.
- Images used are copyright of the respective owners and used here for promotional/educational purposes only
- People who wish to promote sites/fan sites/events by adding links to their signatures in this forums or posting topics, should kindly ask the webmasters first.
- Please do credit the source of information/news/articles you post in the forum.
REGARDING THE ATTITUDE: RULES REGARDING BASHING, TROLLING, FLAMING:
Bashing, trolling, and flaming (see definition below) on this forum will not be accepted or tolerated and will lead to permanent bans. You should treat each other with respect.
Repeat offenders will receive a warning. Ignoring this warning might result in a ban from the entire forum.
A troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
Flaming is hostile and insulting interaction between fellow forum users. It is often a result of heated discussions, but can also be provoked by seemingly trivial differences.
Deliberate flaming, as opposed to flaming as a result of emotional discussions, is carried out by individuals known as flamers, who are specifically motivated to incite flaming. These users specialize in flaming and target specific aspects of a controversial conversation, and are usually more subtle than their counterparts. Their counterparts are known as trolls who are less "professional" and write obvious and blunt remarks to incite a flame war, as opposed to the more subtle, yet precise flamers.
Bashing will be defined as the repeated insulting/ridiculing of a specific singer/actor/band/etc. If an individual repeatedly insults or ridicules a specific singer/actor/band/etc that individual will get a warning which could result in a ban if the bashing continues. Individuals could also end up banned from threads discussing the singer/actor/band/etc they are bashing.
